This report invited five people who had been deceived by online platform merchants to share their experiences.


The first is Mr. Chen(21 years old, student),he said he liked buying some electronics on the Internet, and when he was visiting "Idle Fish", he saw an AirPods that was much lower than the market price.

After asking for some information, he asked the merchant to take the serial number, and the merchant rejected him on the grounds that he was not at home, and Mr. Chen did not think much about it at that time and paid directly.

Mr. Chen said that after receiving the headphones, he also recorded an unboxing video, and after checking the serial number, he found that it had been activated in September. After connecting the mobile phone, I found that the functions of the AirPods can also be used, and after confirming that there is no problem, he confirm the receipt.

After a few days, Mr. Chen found that AirPods could not use the Apple monitoring function, at which time he realized that he had received a fake, tried to communicate with the seller, but found that the seller directly blocked himself.

To the outlook for the future online shopping market, Mr. Chen said that he hopes that the platform can strengthen supervision in the future, and hopes that there will be fewer things that deceive consumers in the future.


The second is Tang Qiaoling(19 years old, student),she shared for us the experience of being cheated into buying weight loss products in order to get thin.

She recalled that she had seen a favorite Internet celebrity on TikTok recommending weight loss sugar, and she just wanted to lose weight at that time, and she also trusted her, so she ordered this sugar online at that time.

Before placing an order, the merchant promised to lose a pound a day, and the invalid can also be refunded, after eating for four days, Tang found that not only did the weight become heavier, but also the body had adverse reactions, so she looked for the merchant to refund, but the merchant phone did not answer the text message and did not reply, and then blocked her.

“I hope that in the future, these platforms can increase the intensity of drug supervision a little, and also make those products that really work better on the Internet.”


The third respondent was a student,Yao Zhenxin (20 years old, student), he mentioned Pinduoduo, a popular shopping software in China, in recent years.

He mentioned that in Pinduoduo, there are often some activities that invite friends to get the "zero yuan purchase" opportunity, but after inviting many friends, he found that they could not get the so-called "zero yuan purchase" goods.

"I hope they can try to improve their business model, because the platform of some marketing means led to consumers are very dissatisfied, also hope he can improve especially like 'zero yuan cut', will invite many friends to bargain, this model is very bad for us, if really want to let us get these items, don't have to do so, do so will hurt the hearts of consumers, to lose more consumers."Mr.Yao said.


The fourth respondent, Miss Yi(student), mentioned her experience of being cheated through "overseas shopping" on the shopping platform.

Because the lipstick on the official website was sold out, Miss Yi chose to buy her favorite lipstick through Taobao. After receiving the lipstick, she found that the lipstick was fake, so she complained on the platform and successfully asked the merchant to refund the money.

Referring to the change in the expectations of online shopping platforms in the future, she said she hoped that merchants would not return the news after the complaints.


The last respondent, Yang Yuxin(20 years old, student), also brought us the experience of buying products on Taobao, but the products we received did not match the physical objects.

She said that she had bought clothes with color differences from the business pictures, and that the fabric of the clothes was not as good as the business provided that the pictures looked.

For the suggestion aspect, Yang classmate mentioned the suggestion to see the comment section, the buyer show pictures.

"If you shop online, you also want to find some regular platforms and try to choose stores with higher scores.”Miss Yang reminded to it.
